It’s time for a Japan Blog Matsuri reminder! The deadline is August 20th to submit your Impressions of Tokyo so that means you only have 7 more days! We already have four submissions and I know that more of you are eager to participate…
Your impressions can be real or imagined and will be published on August 24th at The Tokyo Traveler. When your masterpiece is complete it can be submitted here.
You can also volunteer to host a future Japan Blog Matsuri by leaving a comment in this post (Tae signed up via a comment on a previous post – thanks Tae!).

I can’t wait to read it Chris! Maybe you could tell us your first impressions of the language and phrases that you found helpful or picked up when visiting the city. It might be a fun way to keep up your language studies

Good idea Shane. Although, I only learnt すごい because that’s all I said whilst I walked around Tokyo with my eyes and mouth wide open hehe
I’ll have a little brainstorming session and put something together. I’ve still got a lot of photos I could use for an article.

One suggestion though Chris, if you use katakana or hiragana in your post you may want to place the English translation in parenthesis as I’m pretty sure most of my readers can’t read Japanese. Oh, and my ability is extremely limited
