1 week left to get your Japan Blog Matsuri entries posted and / or submitted! We’ve already got 7 direct entries and 1 recommendation. They cover foreign food in two major ways: foreign to Japan, and foreign because it’s Japanese. It’s relative to where you live, I suppose! Remember, you can submit restaurant reviews, cooking tutorials, ramblings, musings, photo essays, vlog posts, or anything else you can think of. What’s more – you can submit a friend’s post for hat-tip credit, too!
Get your thinking hats on and jump in on this month’s Japan Blog Matsuri! It should be the biggest and best one yet if you do!

Is mine about R-A-M-E-N on your list?

Yup. Picked it up via TrackBack.
Thanks for the entry. Now submit a friend’s! I, for instance, am going to hunt for something on Blue Lotus. There’s bound to be a perfect foreign food entry there that I can submit. (Great blog in general, actually.)

Hmmm…..Would this entry be suitable for the Matsuri? I know it’s kind of old, but I write about food all the time (just…not recently ^^;). This seemed to be my best one noticing the difference between an American chili recipe and Japanese style Keema Curry. I’m going to eventually be writing about different Japanese fish and how to deal with them, but it won’t be in enough time as the experiment is yet ongoing.
I hope this is the kind of thing you were looking for…Though it might be a bit personal? http://koreanghetto.blogspot.com/2008/10/things-im-learning-about-food-in-japan.html

I picked an old article for you. I don’t write ‘em like I used to! I sent it through the widget.
